McKenzie Electric Cooperative is pleased to announce our new member-facing outage map. This map is designed to provide timely and accurate updates reflecting outages within our service area. As our line crews restore outages, you will be able to see real-time as restoration progress is made. Included within the map are various overlays including satellite and current weather imagery.

To view the outage map, follow this link: McKenzie Electric Outage Viewer

In addition to a display of existing outages, the new map includes a graph of outages over the last 24 hours specific to the cooperative.

When outages are reported, they will appear in the map as color-coded hexagons with the following colors:

Predicted (orange):

An estimated number of members without power but not yet confirmed by our line crews.

Verified (red):

Our line crews have confirmed the outage.

How to report outages

Every outage reported will appear in the outage map. Although outages may already be reported in your area, we encourage our members to report their own outage if they have not already done so. Also keep in mind, there may be a delay in the outage report appearing on the map as information is aggregated to the system.

  • Call In: Members experiencing a power interruption may call 701-444-9288 and report their outage. For outages outside of regular operating hours (M-F, 8AM to 5PM), please call our 24/7 Toll Free number 800-584-9239.
